Thousand Oaks Man Arrested on Drug Charges

A 44 year-old man was arrested earlier this week in Thousand Oaks, California on charges connected with controlled substances. The man had a warrant out for his arrest and was stopped by Ventura County Sheriff's Office deputies who took him into custody. His vehicle was searched and methamphetamine and heroin were found as well as drug paraphernalia. The man was arrested and charged with possession, transportation, and sale of a controlled substance, possession of a smoking and drug injection device, possession of a billy club, being under the influence of a controlled substance while driving, and violation of a probation warrant.
