Police were investigating a string of residential burglaries this month and were able to apprehend the suspect after his dog was discovered at the scene of one of the crimes. As investigators were on the scene at a residence where one of the burglaries had taken place, they discovered a Pit Bull that had been left behind. One of the investigating officers recognized the dog as belonging to a 19-year-old man which then led them to a search of his house. They initially saw some of the alleged stolen items that had been reported as missing and later on returned with a search warrant finding more items that had been reported as stolen. The 19-year-old was arrested and booked for residential burglary.
