Teen Charged with Multiple Offenses after Driving Stolen Front Loader while Naked

A 19-year-old Portland man found himself behind bars after a very embarrassing predicament. Police were called to a local nursery early on Sunday morning after a witness said they saw someone drive a Bobcat front loader (a small bulldozer) through a chain-link fence. Officers soon found the Bobcat just after 7:00 a.m. traveling on a highway near the nursery. They were able to able to get the driver, J.H., to stop the piece of machinery whereupon they discovered that he was completely naked. He said he was a few blocks from his house and according to the officers' arrest report, "[J.H.] stated that he was drunk and that he was trying to hide his nudity by taking the Bobcat." He had allegedly been out late the night before drinking with friends when he woke up with no clothes on the following morning. He didn't recall what happened to his clothing. J.H. has been charged with underage consumption of alcohol, public intoxication, indecent exposure, misdemeanor vandalism and felony theft.
