A man charged with pandering in Anaheim has received his sentence recently after being found guilty by a jury for the charges against him. Reports state that C.A., 33 years old, was living in Los Angeles when he allegedly talked a woman he knew in Atlanta to come to LA. He purchased a bus ticket for her and she made the trip to meet him. Once she arrived, he apparently convinced her to work as a prostitute. She began doing so in Anaheim and was giving C.A. the money she made. The woman was taken into police custody in May two years ago but rather than charging her with misdemeanor prostitution, officers offered the woman a deal. She was granted immunity for testifying against C.A. who she said had convinced her to become a prostitute. C.A. was arrested a short time later. The man was in the midst of his jury trial in May of 2012 when he reportedly skipped bail. Officers re-apprehended him in October. C.A. was sentenced to seven years in prison by an Orange County Court. Make sure your rights and liberty are aggressively defended by getting the help of a tough criminal defense attorney!
