Kidnapped Children Located on Facebook

Facebook can be used for more than just social communication and networking it turns out. Several months ago, a mother living in Southern California whose two children have been missing for fifteen years, tracked them down using Facebook and located them in Florida. The children's father, Mr. Faustino Utrera, took them when they were ages two and three.
The girl, now 17 and the boy, 16, have been placed in the custody of the state of Florida. Utrera was arrested near Palm Beach by Sherriff's deputies after prosecutors were contacted by the children's mother. Utrera was charged with two felony counts each of kidnapping and child abduction.
