Under Florida law, it is illegal to carry a concealed weapon without a permit. A person is guilty of carrying a concealed firearm if they: knowingly carried a firearm on or about his person and, if the firearm was concealed from the ordinary sight of another person.
In the state of Florida, the offense of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit is a third degree felony and is a Level 5 severity ranking under Florida’s Criminal Punishment Code.
