Its not the first time that Country Hills Elementary school employee M.L. has been seen outside of his home naked, it's the third time according to police reports. In the most recent case, M.L, 55 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, is facing charges for exposing himself to a 12 year-old girl, as reported by the Sun Sentinel.
M.L. was arrested on Saturday, September 8.
According to Lt. J.M., of the Coral Springs Police Department, M.L. faces one charge of exhibition in front of a child less than 16 years old and two counts of exposure of sexual organs.
In M.L.'s previous instances of public exposure, in 2010 and 2011, charges were not filed as the witnesses were uncooperative.
M.L. told police that he works at Country Hills Elementary. His exact job title is unconfirmed, however, reporters learned that he was hired in October 1996.
When contacted on Sunday, September 9, Tracy Clark, the school district spokeswoman, did not deny that M.L. worked for the school district. Clark would only comment, "Our offices are closed today, so I can't confirm that he is indeed a Broward schools employee."
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on September 8, M.L.'s neighbors telephoned police to report that their young daughter had seen him standing on the front porch of his apartment "completely naked exposing his genitals."
Three victims were able to positively identify M.L.
According to the police the family had arrived home after grocery shopping and had been unloading their bags from their vehicle and into their home. While their front door was open, the family cat escaped, and the 12-year-old daughter went in search of him.
During the time the girl left her home she spied M.L. outside of his apartment, completely naked. She reported that for approximately 5 seconds the man held her gaze. During this time M.L. allegedly did not move to cover himself.
When the child's parents returned from their home back to the car, she told them what had occurred. The parents then witnessed M.L. walk back and forth, from the inside of his apartment and then back to his porch, many times. He was still naked.
Once M.L. detected that he was being watched, he remained inside – with his front door still open.
During the parent's call to the police, M.L. allegedly closed his front door.
The police report detailed that though M.L. was not obscured – by only standing about 10 feet from his open door – his penis and buttocks were still in view and he must have had "no reasonable expectation of privacy."
If found guilty of exhibition, a second-degree felony, M.L. faces up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. For the two exposure charges, first-degree misdemeanors, each charge could warrant up to a year in prison and $1,000 fine.
