Florida Man Kills 5 in Murder-Suicide

What started as a domestic dispute at Yoyito Café on 49^th Street escalated to a murder-suicide. Gerardo Regalado was fighting with his girlfriend Liazan Molina in the restaurant parking lot when Regalado reportedly drew his gun and shot Molina several times. Regalado then walked into the restaurant and started to shoot.

"He knew some of them and some may have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time," Hialeah Police Department Chief Mark Overton said of the six other people Regalado shot in the restaurant. Four women--Maysel Figueroa, Lavina Fonseca, Zaida Castillo, and Molina--were killed and three others--Mayra Delacaridad, Ivet Fernandez and Yasmine Dominguez-were hospitalized in critical condition. Regalado then stole an employee's car, drove four blocks, and turned his gun on himself.
