Woman Leaves Baby Behind in Theft

A West Palm Beach woman has been charged with theft and child neglect after she stole merchandise and left a baby behind in the store. According to police reports, Crystal Whitaker and another young girl went into a JCPenney dressing room and took $256 worth of merchandise in a shopping bag. They girls then ran off and left a baby behind. The girls were eventually caught.
