Woman Arrested for Murder of Ex Boyfriend

A Scottsdale, Arizona woman has been arrested in connection with the death of man police found shot to death in his hot tub.
Morgan Leigh Adams, 26, is facing charges of
first degree murder,
conspiracy, and
robbery. She was arraigned last week and is currently in custody on a $1 million bond.
According to Police, Dale Webber's body wasn't discovered until a few days after he'd been killed. A medical examiner later determined that Webber was killed by a single gunshot wound he received while in the spa.
In the following weeks, a police investigation would lead detectives to Adams, Webber's ex-girlfriend. Webber and Adams dated for three years and lived together for one month. After they broke up, Adams continued to buy and use OxyContin from Webber.
Police believe the
murder was committed while Adams was robbing Webber's home. During an investigation, police noticed Webber's handgun and cell phone were missing.
The investigation into Webber's death is still on-going as detectives follow up on more leads.
It wasn't mentioned when Adam's next court appearance would take place.
