In Ohio, driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is against the law. Driving under the influence (DUI) is also sometimes referred to as operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI), the terms are used interchangeably and mean the same thing. It is against the law in all 50 states to operate a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08% or greater. If you are under 21, that number goes down to just 0.02% in Ohio.
