Charity Co-Founder Admits to Fraud

A Jewish charity co-founder has reportedly admitted to fraud in regard to his claims that he personally obtained vintage Torah scrolls in Europe and Israel. According to reports, the man entered a guilty plea to charges of mail and wire fraud. Now, he will reportedly have to serve up to five years and three months in prison. The fraud matter reportedly went on from 2004 to 2010. He allegedly defrauded the charity out of about $862,000.
