Sex Slave Escapes from Illinois Home

Sex slavery is a crime that we often pretend doesn’t exist. Bu for a young girl that lived in the St. Louis, Missouri area, sex slavery was a nightmarish way of life. The teen was reported missing in her home town in 2010, and never found. Her family continued to believe that she was alive somewhere, and being held captive. They were right. The young woman had been taken to a home in Washington Park, Illinois, where she was continually raped and sexually abused on a daily basis. She remained in the home for over two years before she was able to escape. One August 23rd, the now-17-year-old girl evaded her captors and was able to head back to her family. Along with her she brought a baby. She was impregnated by her captor while in his custody. Her offender was a 24-year-old who, with his mother, was able to catch and contain the girl for his own sexual benefits. The child, fathered by her captor, is healthy.
