Man Arrested for Attempted Kidnapping

A registered sex offender has been arrested for attempting to kidnap a young boy while at a local fast food restaurant. Police responded to the kidnapping when the child told them that a man tried to pull him into his car. The juvenile was able to get away from the man, Robert Dale Ward. Ward is a registered Level 4 Sex Offender and was arrested by officer at his residence. He has since been taken to Benton County Jail and is held for a bond.
