Mother Charged with Aiding and Abetting

On Wednesday, a teen that was missing from Overland Park was found with her step-father. Now, her mother is facing criminal charges because it is alleged that she allowed her husband to flee to Kansas so he could have sexual relations with the daughter, who is 16 years old.

Jordan Stuart and her step-father, Patrick Porter, were found in San Diego this Wednesday afternoon. The mother, Barbara Porter, was charged with aiding and abetting the interstate transportation of a minor with intent to engage in sexual activities, obstructing justice and also harboring a fugitive.

Authorities say that she left her daughter with Porter on June 3^rd. Now, the girl has been placed in protective custody. The step-father has been charged in Kansas City for the crimes of possessing child pornography and coercing a minor to have sex.
