Lawrence Taylor Indicted for Rape

In New York, it is reported that Lawrence Taylor was indicted for charges of rape, criminal sexual act and also sexual abuse.  Taylor, who is a Pro football Hall of Famer, was indicted by a New York jury last week Wednesday.

Taylor was placed under arrest on May 6^th at a Holiday Inn.  According to prosecutors, the football star had paid a 16 year old girl to engage in sex acts with him.  He was also charged with patronizing a prostitute and endangering the welfare of a child.

When questioned by police, the 16 year old officers that Taylor had physically assaulted her and also issued verbal threats against her.  She said that she was brought to Taylor's room by a pimp who was later apprehended by the New York City police.

Since his arrest, Taylor has fervently denied allegations and charges.
