Bicyclist Charged with Weapon Possession

Police stopped bicyclist Carlos Torres after they witnessed him breaking multiple local laws. During this stop, they then found a loaded .38 caliber handgun in his pants pocket. As a result, Torres was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, loitering, imprudent use of a bicycle on a sidewalk and having an unregistered bicycle. He is currently being held at the Justice Center Jail in the Syracuse, New York area.
