Man Charged in Kidnapping Attempt

A Peekskill man reportedly broke into an apartment in Cortland Manor and struggled with a 15-year-old girl inside. It has been reported that Cristian Inga had previously dated a resident of the apartment. Inga, dressed in black, broke in where the girl was with a baby. The two struggled and the police were called when a neighbor heard her scream. Police caught Inga as he was attempting to flee out a rear window. He is now facing charges of burglary in the first degree and attempted kidnapping in the second degree.
