$150,000 Vehicle Stolen from Local Garage

This week in Los Angeles, police say that a valuable classic car was stolen.  The show car was being held at a garage and now the Los Angeles Police Department is trying to find the person that took it.

Unlike other show cars, this vehicle is worth quite a large sum of money.  It is a customized, cherry-red 1957 Chevy BelAir convertible two door that is allegedly worth $150,000.  Police say that the drive-train is chrome from the radiator to the tailpipe and that the vehicle's wheels are custom chrome. 

According to authorities, the theft took place on Wednesday, July 7^th, during the early morning hours.  The car was being held at a transmission shop located on the 7500 block of Reseda Blvd.  Officers say that the person or people who took the car pried open the garage door and drove away.
