A NY woman has been arrested and charged with second degree larceny for stealing more than $50,000 from a fund containing
child support payments.
Karen Faulkner allegedly stole the money between October 2003 and October 2007 while working as a child support investigator for Delaware County. Prosecutors say that no children were deprived of child support.
If Faulkner is convicted of the charges, she could face up to 15 years in state prison.
In addition to felony larceny charges, Faulkner has also been charged with 57 felony counts of falsifying business records.
