A Utah man has been arrested on several charges after police discovered he was growing marijuana with is 17-year-old son.
Police came to investigate the home of Joseph Feichko, 41, after they received a tip that he was cultivating marijuana inside his house. When police arrived at the home, Feichko admitted he was growing marijuana and showed the officers where he kept the plants.
Police found nine marijuana plants in Feichko's laundry room, as well as several supplies for harvesting the plants. According to Police Lt. Bill Merritt, Feichko was growing enough marijuana to cultivate and sell, as opposed to growing marijuana for personal use.
Merritt also believes Feichko's 17-year-old son was involved in cultivating the plants, and was responsible for making sure the lights were set up correctly and that the plants were being watered.
According to court documents, Feichko has been charged with a 3rd degree felony for knowingly and intentionally producing a controlled substance. Feichko will also face charges for child endangerment as well.
