3 Virginia Men Charged with Internet Sex Crimes

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is reporting that three men have been placed under arrest for committing internet sex crimes in Stafford, Virginia. 

The three men are all facing separate internet sex crime charges.  The first man, 31 year old Jason Matthew Hair was charged with one count of attempted indecent liberties with a child and one count of using electronic communications to solicit a minor.  The second man, 59 year old Ernest Donald Washington of Norfolk, was charged with 2 counts of attempted indecent liberties with a child and using electronic communications to solicit a minor.  The last man arrested, 21 year old Spenser Winston Southworth, is facing 3 counts each of the same sex crime charges as Hair and Washington. 

Since October 2008, all three men were in contact with Detective Daryl Wells of the sheriff's office.  Wells was acting as a 13 or 14 year old girl when the men engaged in online criminal offenses.

At this time, Hair is being held in Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.  Washington was released after meeting bail.  He was arrested by the Norfolk Police Department after they obtained warrants out of Stafford.   Southworth is currently being held in Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bon.  He is expected to be transported to Rappahannock Regional Jail in a few days.
