Shoplifter Arrested for 61st Time

In Chicago, a shoplifter who has been arrested 60 times pled guilty to his latest charge. 86 year old Ella Orko was arrested most recently after she tried to steal wrinkle cream along with a few other items from a local grocery store.
On August 2nd, Orko was arrested by police after she stuffed $252 worth of items into her pants. When police looked through her pockets, they found cosmetics, salmon, batteries and instant coffee.
Shortly after, Orko was charged with
shoplifting. Seeing she had so many prior arrests, her offense was classified as a felony, but was later reduced to a misdemeanor in exchange for her guilty plea.
Orko was sentenced to 2 days of jail time by Judge Marvin Luckman, but was let go on time served.
