New Hampshire Girl Claims she Was Date Raped in Park

This past Wednesday morning in New Hampshire, a 19 year old High School student was placed under arrest after a 14 year old girl came forward and accused him of rape.

The accused offender, Christopher A. Gaudreau, had already been charged with sexual assault/statutory rape in a case that happened last year in Keene.

In this incident, Gaudreau is accused of forcing the girl to have sex with him in a city park.  Lt. Peter S. Thomas of the Keen police department said that the crime is being categorized as a " date rape" that did not involve the use of drugs or alcohol. 
 
After the sex crime occurred, the girl reported the rape to a state agency.  The case was later referred to the Keene Police Department in early April. 

Gaudreau was booked and charged at the Keene Police Department.  He was arrested while he was at his High School and then later released on $2,000 personal recognizance.  He is set to be arraigned on May 5, 2009 in the Keene District Court.
