prostitution and related
sex crime charges. The arrests were made Tuesday night near the city's south side on New Haven Avenue.
The six women that were placed under arrest were 36 year old Kimberley Hipper, 33 year old Nicole Bombriant, 38 year old Robin Hover, 48 year old Terri Latonik, 36 year old Donna Walker, and 43 year old Theresa Walsh.
Aside from being arrested for prostitution, Hipper was also charged with resisting arrest without violence, providing police with a false name, and probation violation.
In the state of Florida, prostitution is illegal and considered a serious sex crime. Prostitution is usually classified as a misdemeanor, but charges can be enhanced if the person has prior sex crime convictions.
If convicted of their prostitution offenses, all three women could face hefty fines, probation, and even court ordered counseling.
