Prostitute Accused of Killing Google Exec Pleads Guilty to Involuntary Manslaughter

In California, a high class prostitute was accused of killing a Google executive aboard a yacht after overdosing him on heroin. On May 19, 2015, A. Tichelman pleaded guilty to administering drugs and involuntary manslaughter.

Under a plea deal that reduced a manslaughter charge, a Santa Ana County Superior Court judge sentenced Tichelman to six years in prison.

According to authorities, in November of 2013, Tichelman injected F. T. Hayes with heroin, and after he passed out on the yacht, she failed to call 911 or seek help.

Hayes hired Tichelman on several occasions in the past, and according to authorities on the night that he died they were doing drugs and having sex. In light of the evidence, Tichelman agreed to a plea deal. Her lawyer said that it was an accidental overdose that occurred between two consenting adults.

Tichelman is Arrested Eight Months After Death

Eight months after Hayes' death, the call girl was tracked down by the authorities, who found her by posing as a client.

The investigators found a surveillance video at the Santa Cruz harbor which showed her collect her belongings, casually step over the body, and finish a glass of wine before lowering a blind and leaving the yacht.

Tichelman has dual citizenship in the United States and Canada, and comes from a wealthy family. Before she was arrested, she was preparing to move out of California.

After she was arrested and charged in California, authorities in Milton, Georgia decided to take a second look at a 2013 overdose case involving Tichelman's 53-year-old boyfriend, D. Riopelle.

In that case, authorities said that a panicked Tichelman did call the police, saying that her boyfriend overdosed and was unresponsive.

The autopsy report for Riopelle listed the cause of death as an accidental overdose of alcohol, oxycodone, and heroin. Tichelman has not been charged in Riopelle's death.
